At the full council meeting on Monday 15th July, Bromley Labour asked for a statement following recent rumours about the sale of the Churchill Theatre.
We were reassured to hear that the Council are continuing discussions with the current operator, Trafalgar, and that any potential buyer of the site will be required to maintain a theatre of at least the same specification as the current theatre.
We will continue to hold the Council to account and ensure that the theatre remains an integral part of our borough.
