We are aware from the increasing number of reports from residents to Labour councillors that collections of household waste, food waste and recycling appear to becoming increasingly unreliable.
“Residents are getting frustrated that the waste collections have been missed. To add to their frustrations they are finding collection days are being repeatedly rescheduled on the Council website by the contractor. I have asked for an update from the Portfolio Holder and will update any concerned residents when I get a response”, says Labour Councillor Alisa Igoe, who sits on the Council’s Environment and Community Services Policy Development and Scrutiny Committee.
Please report any missed collections to the Council so that their contractor can arrange an additional collection via the Bromley Council website. https://recyclingservices.bromley.gov.uk/waste
